Date : 25/04/2023 The Center of Excellence for Industrial IoT was inaugurated in the premises of Methodist Engineering and Technology College in association with Pragyatmika The Power of Intelligence.

The objective of this Center of Excellence is to implement the research and development program of the industry at the college level. So that the gap between the industry and academia can be bridged and the embedded system development and production industry can get engineers ready to do the work. For this, it is necessary that the future engineers should know about the technological development that will be consumed in the present and future of the industry.

The increasing role of IoT in our daily life and the role of IoT in the flawless manufacturing work of the production world (which also increases their production efficiency) has made Industrial IoT very important. Industrial IoT and building secure embedded and IoT systems requires a huge skilled workforce. Keeping in view these requirements and possibilities of the industry, Pragyatmika and Methodist College of Engineering and Technology have forwarded their steps for mutual cooperative work.

While addressing the inaugural session, the chief guest, Mr. N Venkatesh, Sr. Engineering Director, Silicon Labs, emphasized the need for the students to take the possibilities from project to product using new technology. Addressing the inaugural session, the director of the college Mr. Lakshmipati Rao said that students should be employment oriented by utilizing IIoT specific education.

Addressing the function, Mr. Prabhu G. Benakop, Principal of Methodist Engineering College and Mr. Amit Kumar Choudhary, Chief Technical Officer, Pragyatmika explained in detail about the concept, functions and benefits of the Center of Excellence.

During the inaugural session, Mrs. Rupam Jha, CEO, Pragyatmika and Mr. Prabhu G. Benakop, Principal, Methodist Engineering College signed the MoU and approved the establishment of the Center of Excellence. All the guests who came were welcomed by the Head of the Electronics Department Mr. Srinivasa Baba and the vote of thanks was  was by the Dean Mr. Ravi Yadahalli.

दिनाँक : २५ /०४ /२०२३ को मेथोडिस्ट  अभियंत्रण एवं तकनीक  महाविद्यालय के प्रांगण में इंडस्ट्रियल आईओटी के सेण्टर ऑफ़ एक्सेलेंस का उद्घाटन प्रज्ञात्मिका द पावर ऑफ़ इंटेलिजेंस के सम्मिलित सहभागिता से किया गया |

इस सेण्टर ऑफ़ एक्सेलेंस का उद्देश्य उद्योग जगत के  शोध एवं विकास कार्यक्रम को महाविद्यालय स्तर पर लागू करना है | जिससे से की उद्योग जगत एवं शैक्षणिक जगत के मध्य के अंतराल को पाटा जा सके और एम्बेडेड सिस्टम के विकास एवं उत्पादन उद्योग को कार्य संपादन लिए तैयार अभियंता प्राप्त हो सके |इसके लिए यह आवश्यक है की भावी अभियंताओं को उद्योग जगत के वर्तमान एवं भविष्य में उपभोग होने  वाली तकनिकी विकास की जानकारी हो |

हमारे दैनिक जीवन में IOT के बढ़ती भूमिका  एवं उत्पादन जगत के त्रुटिहीन निर्माण कार्य (जो की उनके उत्पादन क्षमता को भी बढ़ाएं ) में IOT भूमिका ने इंडस्ट्रियल IOT को बहुत ही मत्वपूर्ण बना दिया है |इंडस्ट्रियल IOT एवं सिक्योर एम्बेडेड एवं IOT सिस्टम के संरचना के लिए एक विशाल कार्यकुशल कार्यदल की आवश्यकता है |उद्योग जगत के इन आवश्यकताओं एवं सम्भवनाओं को देखते हुए प्रज्ञात्मिका एवं मेथोडिस्ट कॉलेज ऑफ़ इंजीनियरिंग एवं टेक्नोलॉजी ने परस्पर सहयोगात्मक कार्य के लिए अग्रसर हुए हैं |

उद्घाटन सत्र को सबोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि सिलिकॉन लैब्स के इंजीनियरिंग डायरेक्टर श्री ऐन वेंकटेश ने छात्रों को नयी तकनीकी का उपयोग करते हुए प्रोजेक्ट से प्रोडक्ट बनाने के तरफ संभावनाओं  की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया |  उद्घाटन सत्र को सम्बोधित करते हुए कॉलेज के डायरेक्टर श्री लष्मीपति राव  ने छात्रों को आई आई ओ  टी  विशिषट शिक्षा को उपयोग में लाकर रोजगारपरक उन्मुख होना चाहिए |

समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए मेथोडिस्ट इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल श्री प्रभु ज़ी बेनाकोप एवं प्रज्ञात्मिका के मुख्य तकनीकी पदाधिकारी श्री अमित कुमार चौधरी ने सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस की अवधारणा , कार्य एवं फायदों के बारे  विस्तार से बताया |

उद्धघाटन सत्र के दौरान प्रज्ञात्मिका के मुख्या कार्यकारी पदाधिकारी श्रीमती रूपम झा एवं मेथोडिस्ट इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल श्री प्रभु ज़ी बेनाकोप ने सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस के स्थापना का एम ओ यू को हस्ताक्षरित कर अनुमोदन किया | आये हुए सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत एलेक्ट्रॉनिकस डिपार्टमेंट के प्रमुख श्री श्रीनिवास बाबा एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डीन श्री रवि यदहल्ली द्वारा किया गया |
