Take a challenge to make the world more Safe, Sustainable, Worthy, Available with latest of Technologies, IoT, E-AI, Industry 5.0 and Principles of Smart Electronics.
Challenge Name : IoT Safety Design Challenge – Safe Deposit Box
The Requirements : In any of Public Meetings /Offices/Schools/Colleges/ Malls / Theatres etc. where there are large of public gathering happens, many of items are not allowed always inside the premise. Keeping them safe is a toughest challenge for the persons who own it. Key and vault based systems are old and have many vulnerabilities. There is a need of new approach for safe, cost effective and less vulnerable system development.
As a participant of Design Challenge, you need to propose a solution to design a IoT enabled Electronics Safe Deposit Box which should be self serviced, Non Transferrable and Non theft able Key, Non accessible to any one else other than the owner and optionally chargeable also. The proposed solution should have a mix of Smart Electronics, IoT , Safety Methods and Physical Design Structure.
THE CHALLENGE STAGES
STAGE 1
Fill This Application Form and Submit your Design Challenge Idea.
STAGE 2
Selected Idea Team will have to make presentation of their idea in front of Jury for Selection.
STAGE 3
The selected Teams from STAGE 2 , will build their Prototypes , Write Blogs during Prototype Preparation, Make Videos, Gather Reviews on the Built through Peers, Take part in Group Discussions.
STAGE 4
Final Display of Project in Front of JUDGES and Final Selection of Winner
Participations and Eligibility
- You can participate Individually or with a Team Partner. Maximum Two persons are allowed in a Team.
- The Participants should be from ECE, EEE, CS and Mech. Branch and the challenge is open for 2nd -4th Year Students.
- You can apply with Multiple Challenge Solution Idea either individually or in a group. It is necessary that the Project Idea should be different in each submission.
- The Participation is only open for B.E. / B.Tech. Students or Passout Students in 2023 from Dept. of ECE,EEE,CS & Mech. .
- The Participants must be from a College/ University within Hyderabad region.

3. Date of Presentation (STAGE 2) : 23rd Dec 2023 (Saturday)
4. Start of Prototype Building (STAGE 3) : 2nd JAN 2024 (Tuesday)
5. End of Prototype Building (STAGE 3) : 18th Feb 2024 (Sunday)
6. Display of Project for Review (STAGE 4): 19th – 23rd Feb 2024 (Mon – Fri)
7. Final Judgement and Prize Distribution : 24th Feb 2024 (Saturday)
